Abstract

The invention provides a message retransmission method and system. The method comprises the following steps: setting a retransmission time interval corresponding to any message to be retransmitted, wherein the retransmission time interval increases with the number of historical retransmissions; at the arrival of the retransmission time interval, performing a retransmission operation on any messageto be retransmitted; obtaining an operation status corresponding to the retransmission operation, and when the operation status is failure, updating the number of historical retransmissions, and whenthe number of historical retransmissions is smaller than a retransmission number threshold, and the number of messages to be retransmitted in a retransmission queue is smaller than a number threshold, adding any message to be retransmitted to the retransmission queue; and repeatedly executing the above steps, until the operation status is successful or the number of historical retransmissions reaches the retransmission number threshold or the number of messages to be retransmitted in the retransmission queue reaches the number threshold.
