The invention relates to a two-stage partitioning method of a topological network. The method comprises the following steps that first, topological data are generated, wherein network nodes in a graph are traversed, and relevant information between the nodes is acquired; second, partitioning operation is carried out, wherein partitioning operation is divided into first stage partitioning and second stage partitioning, the first stage partitioning is conducted according to the connectivity between the nodes, and the second stage partitioning is conducted according to the set maximum node number; third, topological block information is updated and maintained, wherein in a dynamic network, the nodes are allowed to change, so that synchronous updating of corresponding topological block information is guaranteed when the network is edited; fourth, topological analysis is conducted based on two-stage partitioning. According to the two-stage partitioning method of the topological network, the algorithm of two-stage partitioning is used for effectively controlling the data amount of topological traversal, traversing to the entire topological network is avoided in the topological analysis process, and the problem that the entire network is a connected whole can be well solved.
