A variety of tools and techniques are disclosed for managing, viewing, publishing, searching, clustering, and otherwise manipulating data streams. A system and method for associating blocks of Web page content with caching properties are provided. The caching properties may include global caching properties for all blocks of a Web page and/or individual caching properties for each individual block of the Web page.
