The directional screen-surrounding speaker array comprises multiple sub-arrays of speakers (2) arranged around a screen made of a non-acoustically transmissive material. The present invention employs the solution in which multiple sub-arrays of speakers are arranged around a screen made of a non-acoustically transmissive material to solve the problem of infeasibility of a main sound channel sound reinforcement system in a non-acoustically transmissive cinema screen. The invention enables a non-acoustically transmissive screen to be used as a cinema screen, and employs a speaker array to realize adjustable directivities, thereby forming different directivities in different frequency bands.
