Embodiment Construction

[0031] The present invention will be further explained below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0032] The present invention provides an alignment-free motion capture method for human body limbs based on inertial sensors, comprising the following steps:

[0033] 1) Use reference objects to provide horizontal and azimuth attitude references;

[0034] 2) The human body is facing the reference object, set the human body torso coordinate system as the reference coordinate system, and place an IMU on the reference object stably, so that the IMU coordinate system is consistent with the human body torso coordinate system;

[0035] 3) Utilize the attitude of the IMU relative to the geographic system obtained by the IMU output, and then realize the alignment between the reference coordinate system and the geographic coordinate system;

[0036] 4) Wear several IMUs on the limbs of the human body to achieve effective alignment between the IMU and t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for capturing a motion of human body limbs without an alignment action based on an inertial sensor. The method comprises the following steps: providing a horizontal and orientation posture reference by utilizing a reference object; making the human body directly facing the reference object, and stably placing an IMU on the reference object, so that an IMU coordinate system and a reference coordinate system are consistent; outputting a obtained posture, relative to a geographic coordinate system, of the IMU by utilizing the IMU, thereby realizing an alignment between the reference coordinate system and a geographic coordinate system; setting arrow marks on a housing of the IMU, wearing a plurality of IMUs respectively on corresponding positions of the humanbody limbs according to the marks to realize an effective alignment between the IMUs and a limb coordinate system; and capturing the motion of the human body limbs. According to the method for capturing the motion of the human body limbs without the alignment action based on the inertial sensor, the alignment can be realized without a general required alignment action by reasonable preparation andwearing schemes, thereby realizing motion capturing of the limbs. The alignment time is reduced on the premise of ensuring the precision, and a great application value is realized in the fields of hemiplegic motion rehabilitation, somatosensory games and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of human body motion capture, and relates to an inertial sensor initial alignment technology for human body motion capture, in particular to an alignment-free human limb motion capture method based on an inertial sensor. Background technique [0002] Human motion capture technology has broad application prospects in medical diagnosis, sports rehabilitation, virtual reality, human-computer interaction, etc. [0003] At present, relatively mature human motion capture methods are infrared optical measurement methods based on multiple marker points, such as commercial products Vicon, Optitrack, etc., but their effective measurement range can only be limited to the experimental area where this system is installed, and the marker points should be based on the human body. The anatomical principle is worn at a specific position on the human body and is expensive; research on vision-based human motion capture systems...
