According to the technical scheme, before the mobile station is connected with the target access point, a current access point obtains the key corresponding tothe mobile station from the target access point in representative of the mobile station; and therefore, after the mobile station is accessed to the target access point, the mobile station does not need to perform key exchange with the target access point so that the roaming delay caused by key exchange is reduced, the efficiency of wireless roaming is improved, and the user experience is enhanced.
