According to the firmware upgrading strategy of the smart home device to be upgraded by firmware, the firmware upgrading file is sent to the smart home device to be upgraded by firmware, so that the smart home device to be upgraded by firmware is upgraded by firmware. When the smart home device needs to be upgraded, the intelligent gateway can respond quickly so as to enable the smart home device to carry out firmware upgrading.
