The control method comprises the steps that when the air conditioner is in the dehumidifying mode and is in the automatic windspeed mode, indoor environment temperature and indoor environment relative humidity of an air conditioner indoor unit of the air conditioner and an indoor coil pipe temperature of the air conditionerindoor unit are obtained; according to the indoor environment temperature and the indoor environment relative humidity, the air dew point temperature of the indoor environment is calculated, and thetemperature difference between the indoor coil pipe temperature and the air dew point temperature is calculated; according to the temperature difference, preset corresponding indoor fan wind speed isobtained, wherein the wind speed of an indoor fan and the temperature difference are in reverse correlation; and the indoor fan is controlled to run according to the obtained wind speed.
