The method comprises the following steps: building an I2C test link of a BMC chip andthe LED lamp; transmitting, by the BMC chip, a control signal to a switch of the LED lamp, and acquiring test voltage of the LED lamp through the I2C test link; and comparing the test voltage with standard working voltage of the LED lamp to obtain a test result of the LED lamp. The method provided by the invention realizes automatic test of the stability of all the LED lamps in an entire system ofthe server through the BMC, so that the development test period is greatly shortened, and the maintenance efficiency and the accuracy are improved.
