The remote upgrading method comprises the following steps that a basic data platform obtains an upgrading file andcreates an upgrading task according to the upgrading file; the basic data platform sends an upgrading instruction to a vehicle-mounted terminal of the to-be-upgraded vehicle according to the upgradingtask; when the vehicle-mounted terminal is allowed to be upgraded, the basic data platform issues an upgrading file to the vehicle-mounted terminal according to the upgrading instruction; after the vehicle-mounted terminal receives the upgrading file, the upgrading file is sent to a target controller of the to-be-upgraded vehicle; and after the target controller receives the upgrading file, the vehicle-mounted terminal controls the target controller to automatically run and upgrade according to the upgrading file. The invention further provides a remote upgrading system of the electric automobile controller.
