Abstract

A refrigerator of the present invention may comprise: a first tray assembly forming a part of an ice making cell; a second tray assembly forming another part of the ice making cell; a heater disposed adjacent to at least one of the first and second tray assemblies; a driving unit connected to the second tray assembly; and a control unit for controlling the heater and the driving unit. The control unit controls to: supply water after the second tray assembly is allowed to move in the reverse direction to a water supply position upon completion of ice transfer; and turn on the heater so as to allow ice to be easily separated from the tray assemblies before the second tray assembly moves in the forward direction to a position of the ice transfer. The driving unit includes a cam capable of being connected to the second tray assembly, and a path in which a lever moves is formed inside the cam.
