Embodiment Construction

[0042] Now, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail, examples of which are shown in the accompanying drawings.

[0043] The present invention is characterized in that the resource state report message including UARFCN information and sector related information is reported from the base station to the control station by using the CDMA absolute frequency unit, so that the control station can use the frequency unit to manage base station resources.

[0044] In addition, the present invention is also characterized in that more local cells of the base station are set through the NBAP protocol, and there is no need to implement O&M (Operation and Management, Operation and Management) messages related to the UARFCN and sectors added to the local cells of the base station.

[0045] FIG. 6 shows the content of a resource status report message according to the present invention.

[0046] Please refer to FIG. 6 , the information related to Node B includ...

Abstract

A mobile communication system and a method for managing a cell resource in a mobile communication system is disclosed. A resource status report message including UARFCN and sector relating information is reported from a base station to a control station by the unit of CDMA absolute frequency, whereby the control station enables to manage a resource of the base station by the frequency unit. More local cells of the station can be provided by using NBAP protocol without adding to UARFCN of the local cells of the station and messages performing O&M relative to sector.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a mobile communication system, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a method for managing cell resources in the mobile communication system. Background technique [0002] Generally, as shown in FIG. 1 , a user equipment (hereinafter referred to as UE) 30, a UTRAN 20 and a core network (hereinafter referred to as CN) 10 are used to construct a UMTS structure. [0003] FIG. 2 shows a block diagram of the connection between CN 10 and UTRAN 20 and the basic structure of UTRAN 20 in the UMTS basic structure. [0004] Please refer to FIG. 2 , UTRAN 20 includes radio network subsystems (hereinafter referred to as RNS) 21 and 22 connected to CN10 through logical interfaces respectively called Iu. [0005] The RNS 21 / 22 respectively includes a radio network controller (hereinafter referred to as RNC) 21a / 22a and at least one logical node 21b, 21c, 22b and 22c. [0006] Each logical node (hereinafter referred...
