[0019]FIG. 1 illustrates an exemplary embodiment of an indicia reading system 100 which includes a terminal 102 and a base or cradle 104. The terminal 102 may be any device capable of reading decodable indicia which bear information and data encoded therein. Embodiments of an indicia reading system comprise a terminal and a cradle that communicate via wireless technology and are configured to charge a battery in the terminal using power supplied by a host device when the terminal is operated in a presentation mode.
