Benefits of technology

The invention is a disposable toilet that can be used in various situations where there are no permanent toilets or potties available. It is lightweight, compact, and easy to use. The device can be distributed quickly and easily in natural disasters, military maneuvers, hospitals, and nursing homes. It provides sanitary collection and disposal of solid and liquid human waste, preventing the spread of disease and ensuring individual and public safety. The device is made of a lightweight, compact, and self-contained disposable alternative to traditional portable potties or toilets. It can be used for patients who are confined to bed or for individuals who are sick at home and need to dispose of waste.

Problems solved by technology

Sometimes it is not feasible to use a public restroom when nature calls and a more immediate and rapidly available solution is required.
Portable potties can serve some of this need but their use is limited because they are cumbersome to store and inconvenient to transport due to their bulkiness and weight.
A portable toilet or portable potty is generally not connected to permanent plumbing, it may or may not be connected to a surrounding structure and is moveable but inconvenient to store or transport since it is bulky and may weigh several pounds.

Embodiment Construction

[0075]An ultra-light weight, compact, easily stored, easily transported self-contained disposable toilet (hereinafter referred to as “the device”) comprised of a plastic or other impermeable material bag fastened to or otherwise used in conjunction with an annular frame where the function of the frame is to hold the bag open and enable the inside of the opened bag to be positioned by the user against the user's buttocks so that gravity will cause eliminated body waste to drop or flow into the bag. When the elimination of body waste is completed the bag is deep enough to have sufficient material above the eliminated waste and frame to twist and tie in a knot completely sealing in the eliminated body waste and its odor which can then be disposed of in an appropriate receptacle.

Abstract

Ultra-light weight, compact, self-contained, easily stored and transported, disposable alternative to portable toilets and potties (“the Device”) comprised of impermeable bag fused or adhered to annular (round, oval or rectangle) frame in such manner that bottom portion of bag extends downward through frame forming collection pouch with top portion of bag extending upward through frame but gathered below outer edge of frame and held in place by lip at frame's outer edge. Frame holds bag open for collection of body waste. Frame is gripped at edges to hold the Device against the buttocks (similar to positioning of toilet seat) while spreading feet and squatting to push or release body waste into bag. Top portion of bag is then pulled up from securing frame lip where a sufficient amount of upper part of bag is twisted and then knotted sealing in body waste and its odor ready for disposal.
