Commiphora wightii, with common names Indian bdellium-tree, gugal, guggul, gugul, or Mukul myrrh tree, is a flowering plant in the family Burseraceae. The guggul plant may be found from northern Africa to central Asia, but is most common in northern India.

A method of treating a fine line or wrinkle in a person's skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the fine line or wrinkle a composition that includes Commiphora mukul resin or an extract thereof that includes oleo gum resin, glycerin, hyaluronic acid or a salt form thereof, caprylic / capric triglyceride, algae extract, and tocopherol, where topical application of the composition to the fine line or wrinkle reduces the appearance of the fine line or wrinkle.
