This invention provides a
photoelectric sensor comprising a
transmitter and a
receiver. Both the
transmitter and
receiver include: a housing; a circuit board disposed inside the housing; and a cable electrically connected to the circuit board. The cable in the
receiver is a four-core cable, one of which has a
signal input core for switching between normally open and normally closed
modes. This
photoelectric sensor allows for rapid L / D switching by inputting a
control signal through the four-core cable with the
signal input core. It eliminates the need for adjustment knobs, sealing rings, rotary switches, and small substrates required for L / D switching in the original three-core cable configuration, effectively simplifying the sensor structure, reducing production costs and
assembly time, and simultaneously improving the
automation level of the
photoelectric sensor.
