Embodiment Construction

[0025] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the connecting member 1 of the present invention comprises a cylindrical body provided with a housing 2 in its central region, the upper part of which is open. Said housing 2 is bounded by a lower bottom 2 and surrounded by a peripheral wall 4 .

[0026] The wall 4 is provided with windows 5 and ribs 6 longitudinally along the axis of the connector 1 . At the center of the bottom 2, there is a cylinder 7 with a plurality of longitudinal ribs 8 on its outer surface.

[0027] The functions of the described parts are explained below.

[0028] The connecting element 1 shown in the figure is envisaged as a fixing element for fixing an object such as a pipe to a wall. Fix the above connecting piece 1 to the wall with nails. Therefore, it is necessary to make the above-mentioned attachment suitable for use with a nail gun.

[0029] The nail gun includes a cylindrical outlet 9 from which nails are ejected. The connection piece 1 can cooperate with...

Abstract

A piece ( 1 ) for fixing objects to a wall or the like which comprises removable attaching means to the end of the outlet mouth ( 9 ) of a tool for propelling an element for fixing the piece to the wall or the like, and means for holding the object to be fixed. The means for attaching the piece ( 1 ) to the end of the outlet mouth ( 9 ) of the tool comprise at least a rib ( 6 ), which is longitudinal to the axis of the mouth ( 9 ), and in contact with the outer surface of the end of said mouth ( 9 ).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a connector for fixing an object to a wall or the like. Background technique [0002] Connectors are already known as clips for securing objects to supports such as walls, roofs etc., which are secured using tools such as nail guns. [0003] These attachments have been designed to be temporarily engaged to the exit end of the aforementioned gun, allowing the user to hold the attachment against the wall with the gun before driving the nail without needing to hold it with both hands. Once the nails have been driven, the gun is disengaged from the connectors already secured to the wall. [0004] It is known that the connector is provided with a central housing into which the outlet end of the gun is inserted. Engagement is achieved by friction between the connector and the outer surface of the muzzle end. [0005] The process of placing such an attachment in the muzzle is difficult and may involve some risk to the user,...
