Problems solved by technology

Overlay network route flapping is not caused by a single overlay network, but in the case of multiple overlay networks coexisting, there may be uneven network traffic caused by synchronization of routing selection
To put it simply, when multiple overlay networks find a better path at the same time, they will select it at the same time. Due to the conflict of selection, the performance of this path will be worse. In this way, all overlay networks will re-select another path. route, repeated selection and conflicts cause routing oscillation
Due to the selfishness of the overlay network, there is currently no effective mechanism to avoid or reduce the impact of route flapping

Embodiment Construction

[0043] In the system of the present invention, except that each node of the service bearer network needs to run the same set of basic service bearer network protocols, the transmission network and the overlay network do not need to run any additional The access node of the bearer network only needs to submit a QoS application. A typical interface such as Image 6 shown.

[0044]Service bearer network routers are deployed at the edge of the network to provide access services for overlay network applications. The private address of the service bearer network router can be either a public IP address or a local IP address such as 192.168.*.*. When using public IP addresses, the overlay network can be fully connected using the service bearer network, or only some nodes are in the service bearer network, and other nodes directly use the services of the transmission network. At this time, the service bearer network can only provide QoS service for the data flow between nodes all i...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for suppressing the route dampening in the service bearer network, which belongs to the Internet technical field. One typical problem of the network coverageis the route dampening, which is that on the condition of co-existing of a plurality of the network coverage, the imbalance of the network flow caused by the synchronization of the routing selection can happen. At present, an effective mechanism is lacked for avoiding or reducing the impact brought about by the route dampening. The present invention is characterized in that the service bearer network is located between a transmission network and the coverage network, and the service bearer network operates the measurement of the bandwidth, the delay, and the packet loss rate, and provides thedata forwarding service which supports the QoS for the coverage network by utilizing the utmost effort care of service provided by the transmission network. In addition, the routers of the service bearer network obtain the path sharing information through exchanging the flow data, and the path sharing is avoided while the data of the coverage network is forwarded, thus to reduce the route dampening. The method for suppressing the route dampening in the service bearer network provided by the present invention can effectively avoid or reduce the path selection conflict.

Description

technical field [0001] A method for suppressing route jitter in a service bearer network belongs to the technical field of the Internet. Background technique [0002] Overlay network (Overlay), as the name suggests, is a network that "overlays" on the traditional transmission network and uses traditional transmission protocols for node interconnection. P2P network is a kind of Overlay network. [0003] The service underlay network (Service Underlay) is an overlay network that can carry various applications and provide data forwarding and QoS guarantee services for them. It is located between the traditional Internet and applications (such as P2P applications). For a transmission network (such as the Internet), it is an overlay network; for upper-layer applications, it is a bearer network. [0004] A typical problem in overlay networks is route flapping. Overlay network route flapping is not caused by a single overlay network, but in the case of multiple overlay networks ...
