Abstract

The method comprises the following procedures: firstly, receiving an instruction of the mobile phone or background system by the OTA system; then packing the content of the digital certificate and transmitting the packed content to an SIM card of the mobile phone; analyzing the data package by the SIM card and storing the data of digital certificate; and lastly, transmitting a response to the OTA server by the SIM card. The invention realizes the remote management to the digital certificate of the WAPI mobile phone through an OTA system. Through the method of the invention, the user can actively initiate a digital certificate application request atany time and the operator can update and adjust the content of the digital certificate of the user at any time. Furthermore, the digital certificate is stored in the SIM card with a file format according to the invention, the space download of the digital certificate and the active update of the user are facilitated.
