Embodiment Construction

[0064] An implementation example of the present invention is described in detail as follows in conjunction with accompanying drawing:

[0065] This adaptive bit rate control method based on spatio-temporal masking effect is based on figure 1 The program block diagram shown is programmed on a PC test platform with Athlon x2 2.0GHz CPU and 1024M memory. Figure 5 and Figure 7 Comparison of the verification model for JM10.2 with the encoded image of the present invention.

[0066] see figure 1 , this adaptive bit rate control method based on spatio-temporal masking effect obtains the frame complexity of the current coded frame and the perceptual degree of each macroblock through the perceptual model (I frame only obtains the frame complexity, and does not calculate its macroblock perceptual degree) , and then use the frame complexity to adjust the number of allocated bits, and use the perception of the macroblock to adjust the quantization parameters of the macroblock. This i...

Abstract

The invention relates to a control method of self-adapted code rate based on time-space masking effect. The method unifies a macroscopic description that reflects features in some part of a visual sensing system, especially merging the perceiving property of eye about motion information with other sensing features, which includes: preprocessing the original sequence of video code; then calculating frame level complexity and degrees of perception of each macro-block using time-space masking effect; the self-adapted code rate control algorithm distributes frame bit number according to frame complexity; finally determining the quantization parameter of macro-block according to the degree of perception of the macro-block. The method obtains a better object visual quality under the condition of identical or less bit number in comparison with the code rate control algorithm on the JM10.2 edition of H.264 check model.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an adaptive code rate control method based on spatio-temporal masking effect, which unifies the macroscopic description reflecting the characteristics of some parts of the visual perception system into an overall mathematical model, especially integrates the perception characteristics of human eyes for motion information and combined with other perceptual properties. Compared with the improved VM8 rate control algorithm in H.264, this method can obtain better subjective visual quality with fewer bits. Background technique [0002] Multimedia technology based on computer technology, video, audio and communication technology makes people's life more colorful through the Internet. Nowadays, the compression technology used in various video coding standards is mainly based on Shannon’s information theory, and uses video quality evaluation criteria that are convenient for mathematical calculations to remove the statistical r...
