Abstract

The invention discloses a shallow surface sediment layered sampler which comprises a sampling cylinder and a handle, wherein the sampling cylinder is of a cylindrical shape with a sealed upper bottom and an open lower bottom; and two through holes are arranged on the sampling cylinder. In order to study the accumulation, distribution, transformation and migration laws of pollutants discharged into water in the sediment, the sediment samples need to be collected. For conventional sampling, when the water depth at the sampling position is less than 1 m, the sampling is performed in water by use of a sampling scoop. Sampling with the sampling scoop has two shortcomings that: some components of the sediment samples are lost when the samples pass through the water, and the layered samples cannot be collected. Through the invention, the two shortcomings of the method are completely solved.
