Problems solved by technology

Femto base stations are randomly deployed, so it is difficult to achieve coordination between macro base stations and femtocell base stations through X2 interface or S1 interface
Moreover, through the layer-by-layer forwarding of their respective gateways and core networks, the transmission of coordination signaling between the macro base station and the microcell base station will suffer a very large delay, which will have a very large impact on system performance.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the mobile communication technology, and more particularly to a method and device for interference coordination between different types of base stations in Heterogeneous Networks. According to one aspect of the present invention, there may be provided a method for providing service to a User Equipment (UE) in a mobile communication network, and the method includes the following steps: A. a first type of base station determines to perform a coordination about the access of said UE with a second type base station, and sends a signaling to said UE, which comprises a coordination indication message and a dedicated preamble for accessing the second type of base station quickly; B. said UE receives said signaling and initiates a random access procedure to said second type of base station based on said dedicated preamble; D. after achieving the synchronization with said second type of base station, said UE forwards said coordination indication message to said second type of base station. With the application of the method and device in the present invention, the interference coordination between different types of base stations in Heterogeneous Networks can be implemented quickly.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to mobile communication technology, in particular to the technology of interference coordination between different types of base stations in a heterogeneous network. Background technique [0002] In a long term evolution (Long Term Evolution, LTE) system, when interference occurs between macro base stations and coordination is required, signaling related to coordination may be transmitted through an X2 interface or an S1 interface. [0003] A heterogeneous network (Heterogeneous Networks, HTN) is a very important technology for enhancing the performance of a cell system. A typical heterogeneous network situation is the overlap of macro base station (macro base station) signals and microcell base station (microcell base station) signals. A home base station (home base station) is a typical microcellular base station. An important issue in heterogeneous networks is the interference between two overlapping networks. It becomes ver...
