Embodiment Construction

[0024] The invention provides an artificial electromagnetic material, which comprises at least one substrate made of non-conductive material and metal foil attached on the surface of the substrate. There are many choices of non-conductive materials here, such as ceramics, FR4, F4B (polytetrafluoroethylene), HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), or ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), ferroelectric materials, ferrite materials or ferromagnetic materials.

[0025] like figure 1 As shown, the artificial electromagnetic material 1 in this embodiment has three substrates 3 stacked in sequence, and a layer of metal foil 2 is attached between two adjacent substrates 3 . The two layers of metal foil 2 are identical, and the three-layer substrate is selected such that the upper and lower layers are made of the same material, and the middle substrate is made of another material. Since the upper and lower substrates are respectively in contact with the air, a material with a dielectric c...

Abstract

The invention relates to an artificial electromagnetic material, a radome and an antenna system. The artificial electromagnetic material comprises at least one baseplate made of a non-conductive material and a metal foil attached to the surface of the baseplate, wherein a plurality of identical crossed frame-shaped grooves are hollowed on the metal foil; each crossed frame-shaped groove is a closed curve, and the inner outline of each crossed frame-shaped groove encircles to be crossed; and the crossed frame-shaped grooves, taking the direction forming a 45-degree angle together with the crossed vertical lines of the inner outlines as the row and the direction forming a -45-degree angle together with the vertical lines of the inner outlines as the column, are in periodically array arrangement on the metal foil in the manner that the line spacing is equal to the column spacing. The radome employs the artificial material, and the antenna system comprises the radome. As the specially structured crossed frame-shaped grooves are hollowed on the metal foil, the radome to which the metal foil is attached has a favorable frequency selection function and can meet special requirements of specific occasions, such as military concealment and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to artificial electromagnetic materials, more specifically, to an artificial electromagnetic material, a radome and an antenna system. Background technique [0002] Artificial electromagnetic material, English name Metamaterial, is a new type of artificial synthetic material, which is composed of a substrate made of non-metallic materials and multiple artificial microstructures attached to the surface of the substrate or embedded in the interior of the substrate. Artificial microstructures are planar or three-dimensional structures with certain geometric figures, such as circular rings and I-shaped structures, composed of wires made of metal wires or other conductive materials. [0003] Due to the existence of artificial microstructures, the entire metamaterial has electromagnetic properties different from the substrate itself. When the shape and size distribution of the artificial microstructures are different, the electromagneti...
