The vertical end of the opening of the connecting arm is arranged on a vertical side of the connecting arm, the horizontal end of the opening of the connecting arm is arranged on a horizontal side of the connecting arm, the opening of the connecting arm is arranged at the bottom of the connecting arm, the horizontal end of the opening of the connecting arm is lower than highest height of the detecting hole, a probe of the proximity switch is fixedly installed on the inside of the upper side of the connecting arm, and the connecting arm is fixed above the detecting hole of the overflow pipe through the fixed bolt. The novel overflow detecting device is simple and reliable in structure, low in using cost, strong in antiseptic capability, convenient to dismantle and maintain and capable of automatically detecting liquid level situations of mineral separation water pump boxes and pulp boxes, improves automation degree of mineral separation production, simultaneously saves energy, reduces consumption and reduces production cost of enterprises.
