The invention discloses a web service combination method based on searching space reduction. The web service combination method based on the searching space reduction comprises steps as below: pretreatment; generating a dependency graph of the web service; adding a virtualized web service; removing the web service which has no contribution for outputting required by a user; building a virtualized tree; traversing the virtualized tree to find a path. The web service combination method based on the searching space reduction is capable of obtaining a good web service combination group in quality of service (QoS) in large-scaled web service combination groups, and has a good usage value in the large-scaled web service combination group problem.
