Solanaceous fruit seed priming method

A technology for solanaceous seeds and seeds, which is applied in the field of priming of solanaceous seeds, can solve the problems of shortened seed life, lack of in-depth research on the influence of back-drying methods, and large-scale commercial application of priming technology.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a seed treatment method, particularly to an solanaceous fruit seed priming method, which comprises: adopting vermiculite (a ratio of seed to vermiculite to water is 1:3:3-4) to prime for 4-8 days at a temperature of 15-20 DEG C under a dark condition, wherein trichoderma is added during seed priming, and a use concentration is 1*10<6>-4*10<7> viable spores/L; and re-drying for 1-2 days at a temperature of 25 DEG C. The priming method can be used for seed treatments of tomatoes, hot peppers, and eggplants.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a seed treatment method, in particular to a priming method for solanaceous seeds. Background technique [0002] Capsicum, tomato and eggplant are important solanaceous vegetable crops in my country. The seed coats of solanaceous seeds all have a thicker cuticle, which makes it difficult for the seeds to germinate, takes a long time to germinate, and germinates irregularly. Especially under adversity conditions, germination problems are more prominent. For example, under low temperature and salinization conditions, the germination rate of seeds is low, the germination time is prolonged, the seedling rate is low, the emergence is irregular, and the growth of seedlings is inhibited, which seriously affects the yield and quality of vegetables. [0003] The basic principle of seed priming is to control the slow water absorption of seeds so that they stay in the second stage of imbibition, let the seeds perform the physiological an...
