Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for acquiring individuation characteristics of users and documents. According the method, the individuation characteristics of the users and the documents are updated automatically through signals that the users visit the documents. The individuation characteristics of the users are updated according to the individuation characteristics of the documents which are visited by users; the individuation characteristics of the documents are updated according to the individuation characteristic of the users who visit the documents. According to the acquired individuation characteristics of the users and the documents, optimization is carried out to a webpage sort algorithm so as to realize individuation document sorting; further filtering and screening can be carried out to information acquired from a social networking according to the individuation characteristics of the users and the documents. The invention further provides a system for acquiring the individuation characteristics of the users and the documents. The method provided by the invention has the advantages that the precision ratio of a search engine and the anti-cheating capability of a webpage ranking algorithm can be improved, and the information searching efficiency of the social networking is improved.
