The invention further provides a gas metering device based on energy metering, wherein the device implements the method. The components of the natural gas are measured by the aid of the gas chromatographic analyzer, the mass heating value of the natural gas is obtained according to the components of the natural gas, the energy of the natural gas is calculated according to the mass flow rate of the natural gas and can be metered, and the novel metering mode is more reasonable and accurate.
