The method comprises the steps that A, an SNMP is used for inquiring an MAC address table of a convergence switch, and the MAC addresses learned on the interfaces connected to a switch of the convergence switch are acquired; B, the speeds of all the interfaces of the convergence switch are calculated according to the real-time condition flow and storage flow information sent by all monitoring front end devices in current local records combined with the MAC address information learned on all the interfaces of the convergence switch; C, the working speed of the interfaces with the speed smaller than a preset threshold value is adjusted to be 100 M, and the working speed of the interfaces with the speed larger than or equal to the preset threshold value is adjusted to be 1000 M.
