Provided is an intelligent power supply system which comprises an intelligent strip, multiple electricity-using devices with a wireless remote control function, and a remote controller. The multiple electricity-using devices are plugged into multiple jacks of the intelligent strip via power plugs of the multiple electricity-using devices. The intelligent strip comprises a processing unit, a wireless signal detecting unit and an on-off control circuit. The wireless signal detecting unit detects a wireless remote control signal in the intelligent power supply system in real time. The processing unit parses the detected wireless remote control signal, and after judgment that the wireless remote control signal comprises an induction for controlling startup or shutdown of the electricity-using devices, power of the jacks corresponding to the electricity-using devices to be controlled is connected or disconnected by the on-off control circuit through control. The invention also provides an intelligent power supply method. Power of the corresponding jacks is connected or disconnected via identifying the wireless remote control signal for startup and shutdown of the electricity-using devices so that synchronization of on / off of power of the electricity-using devices and remote control operation of startup and shutdown of the electricity-using devices is realized, and thus inconvenience in the manually-operated switching power supply is avoided.
