Embodiment Construction

[0023] Referring to these figures, numeral 10 generally designates the present invention. Visibly, it basically comprises the housing assembly 20 , the plumbing assembly 40 , the heating system 120 and the electrical system 170 .

[0024] Such as figure 1 As shown, the invention 10 refers to a continuous water flow heater and includes a housing or housing assembly 20 surrounding the illustrated components which will be described in detail hereinafter. The housing assembly 20 includes a rear panel 22 , side panels 24 and 26 , and a base 28 . Although not shown in the figures, it should be noted that housing assembly 20 may include an outer door or cover that may be opened or removed to facilitate minimal access to the assembly and to allow at least minimal maintenance. It should be emphasized, however, that the structure and integrity of the components of the present invention minimize the need to access the "inside" of the present invention to complete major repairs.

Abstract

A tankless hot water plant (10) for continuously heating water from a conventional source and then passed through a heating system (120). It basically includes a housing assembly (20), a plumbing assembly (40), a heating system (120) and an electrical system (170). The instant hot water equipment (10) heats the water source in real time during use, so as to provide an effective hot water utilization method. The heating system (120) consists of heating elements (126 and 132), which are always submerged in water, which allows a continuous flow of water through the heating units (124 and 130) to prevent the heating unit (124) from drying out, and the electrical system (170) has means (220) which facilitates the correct measurement of the temperature of the water as it flows through the heating system (120).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a hot water system, in particular to instant hot water equipment. Background technique [0002] The most common water heaters currently in use use a relatively large storage tank which is inherently inefficient since the water held in the tank is reheated even though it is not frequently used. [0003] In contrast, another existing storage water heater is a continuous flow or "tank type" water heater in which the water is heated nearly simultaneously as it flows through the hot water system. The prior art shows that currently used tankless water heaters are only used for the purpose of hot water. [0004] However, such prior art techniques employing continuous water flow heaters are considered unreliable as they often require replacement of the heating unit. In large part, this is caused by the inability of most individual heating elements to be kept submerged in water to prevent the heating unit from drying out when water is...
