A method for developing an application comprises: one or more processors selecting at least one service associated with an application; and one or more processors creating a binding between the application and the at least one service. Creating the binding is performed by generating, in association with the application, a profile for the at least one service, where the profile contains at least one parameter associated with the at least one service.
