Abstract

To solve the selecting problem of a heterogeneous wireless network, the invention provides a network selection method based on an interval triangular fuzzy number, considering the uncertainty and irregularity of different parameter variations of various networks. The method constructs an optimization model combining subjective and objective weights to obtain an optimal weight, the subjective weight is obtained by a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, and the objective weight is obtained by an entropy method. When a decision matrix is constructed, considering the uncertainty of network parameters, the interval triangular fuzzy number is used for processing data, and the sorting of the networks is achieved finally based on an improved gray correlation analysis method. The method in the invention can effectively reduce the switching times of terminals relative to other methods, and has better performance in terms of network parameters (time delay, time-delay jitter and throughput capacity).
