With the method and apparatus, the aphid situation leaf image information is obtained by using a scanning way and then is analyzed and calculated to obtain the aphid situation grade. Therefore, a problem that the aphid situation investigation result is not accurate and the error is large due to utilization of the visual inspection and hand-operated searching method can be solved; and thus the aphid situation investigation becomes standard and accurate.
