The present invention discloses a data exchange system constructing method and a data exchange system. The method comprises installing a plurality of main boards and installing at least one CPU on each main board; installing at least one back board, the CPU including a photo-communication port, and connecting the photo-communication ports of the CPUs to the back boards respectively; and installing a data exchange board card, and connecting the data exchange board card onto the backboard, thus to connect the data exchange board with the photo-communication ports of the CPUs connected to the back board. With adoption of the method, fast and efficient data exchange can be realized.
