The seed discharging unit takes potato seeds out of the seed box for seeding and comprises a plurality of seed discharging spoons for taking the potato seeds out of the seed box, the fixed end of a chain is mounted on the support, a proximity switch is arranged on the support, and the proximity switch is correspondingly arranged at the position, as the highest rotating point of the seed discharging spoons, of the support, and when the seed discharging spoons rotate to the highest point, the seed discharging spoons trigger the proximity switch to form a first signal. The support is further provided with a correlation light sensor capable of generating a second signal under blocking of the seed discharging spoons and the potato seeds. The support is provided with a single-chip microcomputer capable of receiving the first signal and the second signal. The potato seeding device comprises the miss-seeding detecting device. The miss-seeding detecting unit is arranged, the seeding rate of potatoes is increased, and the miss seeding probability is reduced.
