Thirty-seven lectins (see Table 1 for specific names) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich and Vector, Germany, respectively.

Abstract

The present invention clarifies the use of specific lectin combinations in preparing test vectors for identifying lung cancer types in serum samples. Among them, the combination of lectins GSL-I and SNA, the combination of any two or more of the lectins HHL, WFA, WGA, PWM, LEL and MAL-I, the lectins MAL-I, PTL-II, BPL and MAL-II Any two or more combinations correspond to the identification of small cell lung cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and lung squamous cell carcinoma respectively.
