Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses an icon sorting method. The icon sorting method comprises following steps: receiving an icon sorting instruction sent by a user, and switching a current state into a sorting and editing state; determining at least two object icons with positions needed to be changed based on selection operation of the user to display icons; synthetizing the at least two determined object icons to one icon set to be moved according to determination operation of the user and displaying the icon set; determining the object position after moving according to movement operation of the icon set for the user; and arraying icons of the icon set in sequence by utilizing the object position as the first operation and making adaptive adjustments to positions of icons not belong to the icon set. Compared with the conventional method for arraying multiple icons by multiple movement of the user, the technical scheme helps decrease operation frequency of movement by the user and user's experience is enhanced.
