The method comprises steps of: setting a charge computing formula in the taxi-carpooling process; logging in a taxi-carpooling system and reserving a carpooled taxi; computing the carpooling charge according to the charge computing formula; and paying the carpooling charge by a passenger getting off. Compared with a method in the prior art, the method combines the charged displayed on a taximeter, additional fuel charge, electronic calling charge for calling the taxi, and carpooling service charge when computing the carpooling charge so as to achieve reasonable and fair shared charge and a direct proportional relation between the total carpooling charge of each passenger and the actual journey of each passenger in the taxi-carpooling process.
