Abstract

The invention provides a method of adjusting a ring tone volume, applied to a communication terminal which comprises a loudspeaker, a communication unit, a decibel meter and a signal conversion unit. The method comprises the steps of: when the communication unit of the communication terminal receives an incoming call signal, waking up the decibel meter; the decibel meter measuring the sound pressure level of surrounding environment noises of the communication terminal; the signal conversion unit converting the sound pressure level of surrounding environment noises into a ring tone volume data value corresponding to the sound pressure level; and generating a control signal to control the loudspeaker to release a ring tone according to the ring tone volume data.
