Abstract

The invention discloses user equipment and a sleep waking method. The user equipment comprises a first processor and a second processor; the first processor is used for being connected with the second processor through a USB interface; and when the first processor or the second processor needs sleep, the first processor is used for disconnecting USB connection. The beneficial effects of the user equipment and the method are that through application of the user equipment and the method, when the first processor sleeps, the USB connection is disconnected, therefore, the second processor can automatically sleep; when the second processor has an active event, the first processor is initiatively awaken to carry out the USB reconnection, and the event at the second processor side is transmitted to the first processor in real time; after the event is processed, the first processor is informed of disconnecting the USB connection, the system sleeps, and the power consumption is saved; when the first processor has a request event to the second processor, the USB reconnection is actively triggered; after the event is processed, the USB connection is disconnected actively; and therefore, the system can sleep normally, and the power consumption is saved.
