Embodiment 1

[0027] (1) Firstly, oxidize and modify the activated carbon with 0.3mol / L potassium permanganate indoors, then put the activated carbon from fruit shells into the concentrated potassium permanganate solution for soaking and agitation in the laboratory, and soak the activated carbon after 4 hours Wash with distilled water, dry in a blast drying oven, set the temperature at 120°C, pour the sewage from the river course improvement process into the sedimentation tank in the field, take the water sample as the background value of the river water, and settle for 10 minutes. After that, it is discharged into the activated carbon adsorption tank, and the activated carbon is put into the activated carbon according to the ratio of 50g / L of the activated carbon to the river sewage, adjusted to pH = 6 with 2% NaOH solution or hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 1:1, manually agitated and centrifuged, sedimented, after 30min Take the supernatant liquid.

Abstract

The invention provides modified activated carbon and a method using the modified activated carbon to treat river water polluted by various heavy metals in a mining area. The invention also provides a preparation method of the modified activated carbon. The preparation method includes the steps of firstly, performing oxidizing modification indoor, adding shell activated carbon into a potassium permanganate solution with the concentration being 0.1-0.5mol/L, soaking and stirring, and soaking for 4 hours; secondly, washing obtained activated carbon with distilled water; thirdly, drying in an air drying oven at 100-125 DEG C; fourthly, sieving with a 30-mesh sieve under normal temperature to form the modified activated carbon, wherein the total specific surface area of the modified activated carbon is 700-1000m<2>/g, the pore diameter of the modified activated carbon is mainly below 10 nanometers, and the particle size of the modified activated carbon is smaller than 0.63mm. The modified activated carbon is used to effectively degrade the river water polluted by various heavy metals, operation procedures are simplified, and cost is lowered greatly.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of heavy metal wastewater treatment, in particular to the preparation of a modified activated carbon and its application in the treatment of heavy metal polluted river water. Background technique [0002] Heavy metal pollution in rivers caused by industry and mining has the characteristics of refractory, toxic and persistent. Commonly used physical, chemical and biological methods for river management. Various treatment methods are completed in cooperation with each other. For example, after dredging the polluted sediment, the polluted and degraded heavy metals in the river water can be completed by chemical or biological technology. There are many water treatment methods for heavy metal pollution, such as chemical precipitation. , adsorption, ion exchange and so on. Some are costly, such as electrodialysis and ion exchange; some processes are complex, such as enhanced ultrafiltration and ferrite; some equipment r...
