Abstract

The invention provides an adaptive method enabling an ONT (optical network terminal) to support GPON / EPON / P2P uplink modes. The method includes the following steps that: step 1, the OMCI registration certification and configuration process of a GPON is developed; step 2, the OAM registration certification and configuration process of an EPON is developed; step 3, the peer-to-peer transmission process of P2P is developed; and step 4, the three kinds of different modes are integrated, initialization is carried out on the GPON mode, the EPON mode and the P2P mode separately, so that it can be ensured that when different modes are selected, the corresponding modes can be correctly initialized, and thus, corresponding uplink equipment can be matched with the uplink modes, so that a registration certification process can be completed.
