Abstract

The invention discloses a PPPOE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet)-based Intranet-Extranet uniform authentication method, which is used for accessing a server side. The method comprises the following steps: when PPPOE authentication initiated by a client is received, sending an authentication request message to a first authentication server, wherein the authentication request message carries user authentication information in order that the first authentication server authenticates the user authentication information and transmits the authentication request message to a second authentication server in a transparent way after pass of the authentication, and the second authentication server continues authentication; receiving an authentication pass message returned by the first authentication server, and judging whether the authentication pass message carries a public network IP (Internet Protocol) allocated to an access client or not; and if so, allocating the public network IP to the access client. Through application of the method in the embodiment of the invention, a campus network user can access campus network Intranet and Extranet resources through one-time authentication, so that the campus network user can access the Internet resources more conveniently.
