For example, in the article Efficient Scheduling for Relay-Aided Broadcasting with Random Network Codes (this article comes from 2011IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications), the author proposes a data transmission scheme in a relay network based on random network codes, which Random network coding is used in this transmission scheme, but this introduces a large transmission delay and can only be used to transmit ordinary data that does not require high delay.
This is unbearable for transmitting multimedia data with high real-time requirements

[0033] The classic Scalable Video Coding (SVC) is the key technology to guarantee multimedia data transmission. SVC is a kind of hierarchical data. Based on this, we explain the transmission data as follows: We assume that there are L data packets a at the source 1 ,a 2 ,...,a L need to be sent to the user, their priority order is descending, the order is: a 1 ≥a 2 ...≥a L , which is a kind of layered data. The L data packets are divided into L layers in total, and each data packet is a layer. The first layer is packet a 1 , is also the most important data packet. If this data packet is lost at the receiving end, all subsequent data packets cannot be decoded; similar...

Abstract

The invention discloses a multimedia data transmission method based on networking coding in a wireless relay network. According to the method, self-adaptive networking coding is introduced into an ABRC. A user receives a state matrix and can decode part of data packets under the condition that full rank does exist. A competition scheme is employed each time when transmission is carried out. The optimum transmitter or the optimum type of coding packet is selected for transmission. The network coding delay is overcome. Moreover, the network throughput is clearly improved.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The invention relates to a method for transmitting multimedia data based on network coding, in particular to a method for transmitting multimedia data based on network coding in a wireless relay network. 【Background technique】 [0002] In a wireless broadcast network, Random Liner Network Coding (RNNC) is an efficient coding method, which can effectively improve the throughput of the network. However, the traditional random linear network coding brings a large transmission delay. Only when the user successfully receives enough coded data packets to make the received state matrix reach full rank, can the information source be successfully decoded at one time. All information sent. For example, in the article Efficient Scheduling for Relay-Aided Broadcasting with Random Network Codes (this article comes from 2011IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications), the author proposes a data transmission scheme in a r...
