Abstract

The invention discloses a method and apparatus for controlling shooting of a camera and a mobile terminal. The method and apparatus are applied on the mobile terminal, where a camera application is installed. The method includes the steps of detecting whether the mobile terminal shakes in a preset direction when starting of the camera application is detected, and controlling the camera to shoot after shaking of the mobile terminal is detected. Shooting by touching a touch screen or pressing a shooting button of a mobile terminal is prevented, a user can take pictures with single-hand operation, and the shooting operation difficulty is reduced.
