The circuit breaker comprises a base, wherein an operating mechanism, a transmission device and arc extinguishing chambers are arranged on the base; the operating mechanism is positioned behind the arc extinguishing chambers; the transmission device comprises a rotating main shaft driven by the operating mechanism, and three transmission connecting rods which are arranged corresponding to the three arc-extinguishing chambers in a left-right direction; the transmission connecting rods are in transmission connections with moving contacts of the arc extinguishing chambers respectively; the rotating main shaft is positioned on a front side of the operating mechanism; three output connecting levers which are arranged corresponding to the three arc extinguishing chambers in the left-right direction are coaxially assembled on the rotating main shaft; and the three output connecting levers are in transmission connections with the three transmission connecting rods in a one-to-one correspondence way, so that the rotating main shaft can drive the corresponding transmission connecting rods to rotate through the output connecting levers. The rotation main shaft, the output connecting levers and the transmission connecting rods move forwards, so that the overall height of the operating mechanism and the base can be reduced effectively; the vertical distance between the base and a lower outgoing line of a solid-sealed polar pole is effectively increased; and a high insulating capability is kept.
