Abstract

The invention discloses a terminal staring method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of triggering a Boot program in a started terminal to run; determining a triggered shift mark in the running of the Boot program, wherein the triggered shift mark is dynamically changed relative to a triggered shift mark in previous starting; determining a pointed memory space according to the triggered shift mark, wherein the shift mark is used for indicating a memory space for running a system main program in current starting; booting the system main program to run in the pointed memory space; and after the system main program runs, calling an application layer program to enter other memory spaces. Through the dynamically changed shift mark, the memory space used by the system main program is dynamically changed, and the memory space is no longer cured for the system main program, so that accumulated damage of the memory space can be avoided and the product life of the terminal is prolonged.
