The method comprises the following steps: acquiring basic identification information of the target object, wherein the basic identification information is characteristic information for characterizing that the target object can be identified; capturing the target object according to the basic identification information; acquiring first standard identification information of the target object, wherein the first standard identification information is characteristic information for characterizing that the target object can be marked. By adopting the method and the device, disclosed by the invention, the technical problem of how to establish a complete information database of the target object based on the unmanned aerial vehicle in the prior art is solved.
