The method comprises the following steps: collecting a current value of a current transformer; calculating a corresponding phase angle and a corresponding amplitude based on the current value; determining a linear transmission region based on the phase angle and amplitude; determining a load operating area based on the phase angle, amplitude and linear transmission region; calculating a current prediction value and a current difference value based on the phase angle and amplitude of the current inside the linear transmission region; determining a singular point based on the current difference value and the load operating region; correcting the linear transmission region, the current value, and the current difference value based on the singular point; determining a fault region based on the linear transmission region, the amplitude, and the current difference value; correcting the linear transmission region based on the fault region, and determining a saturation region based on the linear transmission region, the current difference value, the load operating region, and the fault region.
